Andy used to live in Hell's Kitchen, and this was the view from his balcony. The first time I hung out at his place, I realized that I was sitting with a stranger in an apartment in midtown Manhattan and wondered how that had become my life.

Andy's room in this apartment had one wall made entirely of windows. It faced a hotel across the street (not pictured here). People would always look at us from their hotel rooms. We were just as bad with our voyeurism; I remember having a lot of "I think that guy over there is naked" exchanges.
