Before we left I took a bunch of photos of myself in Andy's bathroom, because I thought I looked cute. I don't look cute here, but I do match his bathroom pretty well.
|
Then we went to Quizno's. I'd never been there before. It wasn't bad for a sandwich chain.
|
Then we went to the museum. My uncle's name is on this thing, so I took a photo of it.

This is what it looked like to build the subways when there were buildings overhead.
|
There was a big exhibit on turnstiles, but all of the photos I took of the old turnstiles were blurry. So you're looking at the current one, which is cleverly designed to keep people from being able to sneak through it.

"Have you a little 'Fairy' in your home?" Something in the background of an old photograph that we found amusing.

Andy is driving the subway! He didn't like that I got a piece of the rug in this photo, but whatever, like you really would have thought he was driving it anyway.
|
A not very flattering photo, but the car is cool. Look at all that wicker. I think this one was from the 1920s.

Even in the 1950s, subway riders were glum.

Andy calls this a Stanley Kubrick photo.

These doors are totally flimsy; I wouldn't feel secure leaning on THESE babies.

Some trains used to be painted in bright colors.

Even in the 1930s, etc. *

Even in olden days, some subway riders were crazy! *

This one is a little creepy. *

I look like a nice lady in this one. *

Andy is finally happy about riding on the subway! THE END!
